Julianna's Week

It has been quite a big week for Julianna this week, as she has experienced a couple of firsts. She has been showing quite an interest in food lately and has been sitting up a lot better so I thought I would see how she went with some solids. She LOVED them.

She also tried out her new walker for the first time this week. I put her out in the courtyard and, of course, her self appointed nanny had to come along to supervise.

She is growing up way too fast.

Julianna's Big Accomplishment

For a few weeks now Julianna has been trying so hard to sit up by herself. She just doesn't believe us when we tell her that she is only three months old and is supposed to still be a little baby. She is in such hurry to grow up. Anyway, yesterday when she woke up I brought her into our bed for a while and propped her up against my pillow. Well she started again trying to sit up.

It took a couple of goes.......

but finally SHE DID IT and she was VERY proud of herself.

The First Post

I thought since we have so many friends and family overseas in America and England I would start blogging so that everyone could keep up to date with what is going on in our lives and since yesterday was Australia Day I thought it would be a good day to start.

We had a fantastic day, as we always do on Australia Day. Last year we had so much fun celebrating Jonathan's first Australia Day

and this year was Julianna's first Australia Day.

We started the day off with a big breakfast of pancakes with berries and bananas, which I then went to work off at the gym while Julianna had some Daddy time. Then, since it was such a hot day we decided to go for a swim.

Which was exhausting.

That night we went down to the park to watch the fireworks.

The fireworks incorporated Julianna's two favourite things; lights and noise, so she was mesmerized.
